Common Questions: How Much does it cost? How long does it take? > Each sculpture or event is priced individually based on the size, amount of time, sand, sculptors, difficulty, equipment, travel. An event can take between 3 and 30+ days depending upon the size and amount of sculptors. A smaller sculpture can be created for weddings, parties, etc in as little as 5 hours. Most Team Buildings exercises are between 2 and 5 hours. Shoot me an email and lets talk about what best fits your event. How long will it last? > An unprotected sculpture made outside has a life span of "until I turn my back". We always recommend security for any sculpture or event lasting longer than 1 day if built outside. Tents will also increase the longevity of your sculpture in the event of foul weather. An indoor sculpture can last years if barriers are in place which limit or prevent people's access to "touching" the sculpture. Our event is no where near a beach, can you make a sculpture at our event? > Most events I do are not on a beach. Great carving sand can be obtained locally at almost every event. The cost of this sand varies, but is generally fairly cheap. The delivery of the sand is the greatest variable which changes almost daily with the rising cost of gas, yet is still quite affordable. What do you need to get started? > Just send me an email and we'll get started by figuring out what size and type of sculpture you need. We can then discuss travel, sand, materials, equipment, food and lodging. We can take care of everything and do a full turn key project or if you prefer, we can work with many of your in house/on site amenities to help lower your operating costs. Can you put my face in the sand? > Perhaps, but it stings a little. ;) |
